Poetry Series: By My Grave

and the fourth. originally the girl was suppose to be, um, solid. but after i finished the tree, grave, and such, and noticed she looked ghost-ish i knew that was way better for my purposes. This one is my favorite. supported by the others, i think they convey how i feel when i read that poem.

the poem itself holds some special meaning for me though. a dear friend of mine died in a car accident two years ago. i don't know who chose it, but this poem was on the casket at his funeral. i feel as though i will be forever standing at his grave wishing to be with him again. yet constantly i find him in the world around me. he's with me all the time but i'm not with him.
